Chocolate Thunder: A Drink With a Purpose

At Sharla’s Coffee Stop, coffee has always been about more than just caffeine. It’s about community, connection, and showing up for the people around us when it matters most. This March, we’re proud to introduce Chocolate Thunder, our Drink of the Month with a mission behind it.
For every Chocolate Thunder sold, $2 will be donated to support Captain Major Cain Jr. as he courageously battles stage 4 colon cancer.
Customers can also choose to round up their purchase at the register to donate, so even if Chocolate Thunder isn’t your drink of choice, you can still easily support Captain Major Cain in his fight.
Meet Captain Major Cain Jr.
Captain Major Cain Jr. has dedicated his life to serving and protecting his community. As a firefighter and leader, he has spent years answering calls for help, standing beside his fellow first responders, and risking his life to keep others safe.
Now, he faces the toughest fight of his life.
After being diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, Major Cain and his family are navigating the emotional and financial challenges that come with a serious medical battle. His strength, leadership, and commitment to service have inspired countless people throughout the community—and now it’s our turn to stand beside him.
